Apple iPhone 8 and iPhone 6 Plus are launched officially at the Steve Jobs Theater at Campus on Tuesday. The iphone 8 and iphone 8 Plus design follow the same design as their predecessors, they sport a metal and glass bodies as we seen in previous iPhone 4S. Now, they are come in only two storage variants of 64GB and 256GB. The new iphones sports Aerospace-grade Aluminium with 7-layer colours process. These newly launched iPhones will go up for pre-orders in India, USA, UK, China, Australia and 24 other countries from September 15 and will go on sale on September 22.
Move to the Specifications, the Apple iPhone 8 sports 4.7-inch with a resolution of 750 x 1334 pixels and iPhone 8 Plus sports 5.5-inch New Retina HD Displays respectively. These displays also comes with Apple’s True Tone Technology which was limited to iPads earlier. With the help of the True Tone Technology, the colour temperature of the display automatically adjusted according to the surroundings.
Apple iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus powered by A11 Bionic SoC hexa-core CPU processors and improved GPU which is 30% more efficient than GPU in previous models. The iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus are first to feature Apple-designed GPU. The new CPU has two high performance core which are 25% faster than A10 cores. As rumour suggested, new Apple iPhones will also supports QI wireless inductive charging. The new SoC and GPU can able to perform complex things such as video encoding with much faster rate.
The Apple iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus also comes with improved cameras, iPhone 8 packs with a single 12-megapixel rear camera with OIS and Quad-LED Flash and front camera of 7-megapixel FaceTime HD. On the other hand, iPhone 8 Plus packs a Dual 12-megapixel camera with OIS, f/1.8 aperture lens and Quad LED and a front camera of 7-megapixel FaceTime HD. The new iPhone model can shoot 1080p videos in 240 frames per second. The new iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus will runs on iOS 11 platform.
Both the new iPhone 8 and iPhone 6 Plus comes in only 64GB and 256GB internal storage variants and the price of iPhone 8 starts from $699 and iPhone Plus starts from $799. These iPhones will be available in Black, Silver, Gold and Space Gold. iPhone 8 measures 138.4 x67.3 x7.3mm with a weight of 148 grams while iPhone 8 Plus measures 158.4 x 78.1 x7.5mm and a weight of 202 grams.
